Digidesign makes it easy for Mac-based Pro Tools TDM* or LE** owners to take advantage of our new Pro Tools 6.0 software by offering two methods of acquiring our latest and greatest upgrade.

You can purchase Pro Tools 6.0 software upgrades now through your local authorized Digidesign dealer, or via the Digidesign web store. List price for the Pro Tools 6.0 software upgrade is $195 (USD) from any previous TDM version and $75 (USD) from any previous LE version. In both cases, please allow 4 to 6 weeks for delivery of your Pro Tools 6.0 software upgrade from the date your order is placed.

If You Purchased Your Pro Tools System on October 1, 2002 or later

If you purchased a new Pro Tools|HD, Pro Tools Mix, Digi 001, Mbox or refurbished Pro Tools Mix product for your Macintosh Computer on October 1, 2002 or later, and you've registered this product, you qualify for a free upgrade. Please allow 2 to 3 weeks for delivery.
If You Purchased a Pro Tools Upgrade on October 1, 2002 or later...Customers who have purchased a Macintosh upgrade to Pro Tools 5.1.1 (TDM or LE) or Pro Tools 5.1.3 (TDM only) since Oct. 1st can contact Digidesign Customer Service for a special price accommodation. Plug-in Authorization on Mac OS X

As Mac OS X does not support floppy disk authorizations, all plug-in authorizations for Pro Tools-compatible plug-ins and software options are now done through Pace's iLok hardware authorization key. * Pro Tools TDM 6.0 software supports Pro Tools|HD, Pro Tools|24 MIX, and Pro Tools|24 systems, but does not include support for for AVoption|XL and Avid Unity™ MediaNetwork (Mac OS X support to be included in a follow-up software release, currently scheduled for mid-2003). Pro Tools TDM 6.0 software does not support DigiStudio.
** Pro Tools LE 6.0 software supports Digi 001, Mbox and Digi ToolBox (Mac OS X support for Digi 002 will be included in a follow-up software release, currently scheduled for mid-2003). Pro Tools LE 6.0 software does not support DigiStudio.
